A disused Boeing 767, which will form part of an alternative glamping village in Sligo, is due to set sail from Shannon later this evening.
Funeral Director David McGowan bought the plane from Shannon Airport in the hopes of coverting it into camping accomodation for holiday makers, close to the beach in Enniscrone.
The plane was moved onto an articulated truck ealier this week and transported to Knockbeg Point where it is being loaded onto a barge today and it's hoped it will reach its final destination on Saturday morning.

David hopes his ambitious project will act as an inspiration to others.
