The days of teaching in prefabricated structures at Parteen National School are coming to an end.
Permanent classrooms are set to be constructed at the South East Clare School under the Prefab replacement programme- – St John’s National School Cratloe, Kildysart National School and St. Mochulla’s in Tulla got similar good news last week.

The announcment by Education Minister Rurai Quinn comes just days before he’s due in County Clare to offically turning the sod on the long awaited 6.6 million euro Ennis National School Development.
South East Clare Councillor Pascal Fitzgerland is very pleased that despite the dire economic conditions, education remains an important area for government.
