Investigations are continuing into the death of a 28 year old man killed when his motorbike collided with a car on the Scarriff to Gort Road.
Limerick man Liam O’Connor was returning home to Croom yesterday following a bike rally in Killanena on Saturday when the crash happened at Inchaboy South in Gort -described by locals as a notorious blackspot.

The driver and passenger of the second vehicle involved in the collision were rushed to hospital in Galway but Gardaí say their injuries aren’t life threatening.
