Water Quality in Gort is to be improved with funding of 608,000 euro.
The allocation announced by the Minister for the Environment, John Gormley goes towards Galway County Council’s proposals to upgrade the existing water treatment plant in Gort.
The Minister says the upgrade will meet the town’s current and medium term water needs and local Councillor Bridie Willers says the funding is most welcome
