The British Justice Secretary has said he did not want to run for the leadership of the Tory party – but felt he had to when he realised Boris Johnston was not right for the task.
The former London Mayor pulled out of the race after Michael Gove decided to run against him.

Political commentators in the UK says many Tories see the actions of the Justice Secretary as a great betrayal.
However Mr Gove says he had no choice.
