The government’s being accused of failing to tackle in any way the growing unemployment levels in County Clare.
New CSO figures show the numbers joining the dole queues in the county rose again in January with just over 10 thousand people on the Live Register.

It comes as the coalition says its delivered on 92 percent of the measures promised in the action plan for jobs in 2012.
However with the numbers signing on in East Clare continuing to rise local Fianna Fail Councillor Pat Hayes says the government’s action plan has been ineffective in the county
