The government has approved a support fund of over 45,000 euro for the purchase of six apartments in Ennis to be used as social housing.
It makes up ten percent of the cost of the Loreto Apartments on Carmody Street in the county town.
The purchase will be carried out by the Cooperative Housing Association of Ireland.

They’ve been allocated the funding by Clare County Council, which is then reimbursed by the Department of Housing.
