The Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform insists the government remains open to allocating more funds for storm repairs in Clare, if they are needed.
The County Council has been given 16.8 million to repair infrastructure in light of the bad weather in January and early February, but had estimated the total cost of the damage at nearly 37 million.

Minister Brendan Howlin says the coalition is continuing to evaluate the situation, and has not ruled out the prospect of more money into the future.
