The government is preparing to reveal this afternoon how those who paid their water charges can get their money back.
The Cabinet is set to approve the scheme at its first meeting since the Summer break.
It’s expected that refunds will have an administrative cost of 3 to 4 million euro and a total bill of over 170 million.

The 100 euro conservation grants will not be reclaimed from those who received it.
