The government is being warned that it needs to take action to resolve the pensions dispute involving staff at Shannon, Cork and Dublin Airports, and Aer Lingus.
The workers' combined pensions scheme has a deficit of 780 million euro, and staff were due to strike this morning until a High Court injunction was granted against SIPTU this week.
