The government is being told to get to grips with spiralling worrying unemployment problems in Clare.
Clare Fine Gael TD Joe Carey says a jobs stimulus package is needed urgently to halt rising dole figures which are now at over 10,400.
The latest figures from the CSO, show an increase of over 300 people signing on in the month of December, and an overall rise of nearly 3,000 in 2009.
