The government is being urged to release funds for the establishment of the Lynx Cargo facility at Shannon Airport.
The American multinational is expected to establish a base at the Mid West Airport by 2011 however infrastructural funds amounting to 7 million euro, is required from the Department of Transport before the company can move into the airport.
Lynx Cargo have already invested 15 million US dollars into the facility at Shannon, installing a new runway, an area for its planes to taxi and additional parking.
