Dressed in a dark suit and polka dot tie, Graham Dwyer stood with his hands crossed at this his last District Court appearance.

He spoke twice during the 5 minute hearing – once to say good morning to judge Victor Blake and then again to say he understood the warning that if he wishes to rely on an alibi he must inform the state within 14 days.

Det Sgt Peter Woods served the book of evidence on the 41 year old architect – it’s 8 volumes in total – one volume is made of statements, the rest is made up of exhibits.

The judge then sent Mr Dwyer  forward for trial to the current sittings of the Central Criminal Court.

The architect with an address at Kerrymount Close in Foxrock, is charged with the murder of Elaine O’Hara in August 2012.

The decomposed remains of the 36 year old childcare worker were found in the Dublin mountains last September, more than a year after her disappearance.
