The grandson of Ardrahan Pensioner Finbarr Fahy was remanded in custody last night after being charged with his murder.
22 year old Gearoid Fahy of Carrownamona, Ardrahan, County Galway was brought before a special sitting of Ennis District Court to face the charge of murdering the 78 year old retired widower who’s body was found at his home at Ballinduff, Ardrahan on Wednesday.
A post mortem revealed he died of head injuries.

Gearoid Fahy was remanded in custody to appear before Shannon Distirct Court next Thursday.
He’s due to receive medical attention in prison as the court was told he’s on continuing medication.
