Grave Concerns Over Nothern Ireland’s Faltering Powersharing Government

The British Prime Minister David Cameron says he is "gravely concerned" about Northern Ireland's faltering powersharing government.

DUP leader Peter Robinson stepped down as First Minister yesterday, over a crisis sparked by the murder of Kevin McGuigan that police have linked to the IRA.

The British government's rejected the DUP's calls for Stormont to be suspended.

The Irish and British governments are expected to remain in close contact over the weekend, ahead of proposed talks at Stormont again on Monday.
