The Green party leader believes Clare is leading the way in switching to greener practices.
Eamon Ryan is speaking ahead of an event in Ennis tomorrow evening, which will see two candidates in East and North Clare being chosen to run for the party in next year’s local elections.
The gathering will also discuss ways in which the Green party can support local interests such as clean water, housing transport and small businesses.
