The number of people known to have died in the Grenfell Tower fire in London has risen – as emergency crews had anticipated.
30 people are now confirmed to have lost their lives, but that figure is expected to rise further as firefighters search the 24-storey building.
Commander Stuart Cundy of the Metropolitan Police confirmed that thirty have died after the fire, including one who had been brought to hospital.
