Fears are growing for 200 jobs at Beckman Coulter in Galway amid growing speculation the company is set to move its operation to its County Clare base.

Its been reported that the pharmaceutical firm is reorganising its operations at its plant in O’ Callaghan’s Mills and there’s deep concern in Galway it could mean the loss of 200 jobs at its Mervue base.
The medical diagnostic kit manufacturer has been in operation in the city for 35 years.
The company has refused to comment on the speculation .
