The company behind a planned sea plane service in East Clare has received a boost with the granting of planning permission of another base in Galway.
Harbour Flights Ireland were last week granted full planning permission by An Bord Pleanala to proceed with the development of a pontoon and slipway at Mountshannon.
They’ve now received further good news from the planning appeals authority, with the announcement that they’ve also been given approval for a similar base in Galway.
The facility will be located at the city’s docks, and will include pontoons, an access gangway, mooring anchors, and associated infrastructure for the berthing of a sea plane
Once developed, it will enable the Harbour Flights Ireland to open a route between Galway and it’s base on Lough Derg.
