Clare's Independent TD has not ruled out the possibility of being appointed as a Junior Minister in the next government.
The comments from Dr. Michael Harty come as Fine Gael makes a final push to try and secure a deal that would allow Enda Kenny be re-elected as Taoiseach tomorrow.

The Kilmihil doctor says he will give his backing to the Fine Gael leader, barring any last minute to changes to the programme for government.
Dr. Harty says he would be interested in any role where he could make a positive impact.
