The head of the HSE has accepted an invitation to appear before an Oireachtas committee next week, over alleged abuse of children with disabilities at a foster home in the South East.
Tony O'Brien will appear before the Public Accounts Committee on Tuesday, to answer questions about how children were treated and how the subsequent accusations of abuse were dealt with by the HSE.

Mr O'Brien says he has asked the social care division to look very carefully at the issue before he reports to the PAC.
