Trolley numbers are climbing at the region’s main hospital again today.
According to the latest INMO figures, 51 patients were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 29 of those in the Emergency Department.
The overall figure is the highest of any hospital in the country and comes on a day when 386 people have been left waiting on trolleys at hospitals across the country.
