The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is climbing.
The INMO’s latest trolleywatch figures show 53 patients were left waiting for bed at Universtiy Hospital Limerick this morning, 34 of those in the emergency department.
The overall figure is the highest in the country and is 10 more than the next busiest facility.
