56 On Trolleys At University Hospital Limerick

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is beginning to climb once again this week.

The latest INMO figures show 56 patients were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 31 of those in the Emergency Department alone.

The overall figure is 13 more than the next busiest facility, University Hospital Galway, where 43 patients were waiting on trolleys.
