Nurses say trolley numbers at the region’s main hospital have climbed slightly today.
The latest INMO figures show 59 people were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 33 of those in the emergency department.
It’s the highest overall figures of any hospital in the country and comes on a day when 309 patients have been waiting to be admitted at hospitals across the country.
