The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is on the rise once again.
The latest INMO figures show 72 patients were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 44 of those in the emergency department.
The overall figure is the highest of any in the country and is 29 more than the next busiest facility.
