Don’t Issue “Meaningless Apologies” INMO Rep Warns Hospital Management

The INMO’s Midwest representative insists management at the region’s main hospital must examine why trolley numbers are so high, rather than issue meaningless apologies.

75 patients were left waiting on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick yesterday, one of the highest figures of the year so far.

The UL Hospitals Group has apologised for any inconvenience caused to patients and has urged people to use their GP or medical assessment units in Ennis and Nenagh where appropriate, to ease pressure.
