Just three patients have been left waiting on trolleys at the region’s main hospital today.
According to the INMO, there were two on trolleys in the emergency department of University Hospital Limerick this morning, while one more was being accommodated in an overflow area of a ward.
They’re among just 106 nationwide in that situation today, with the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar the worst hit, at 13.
