There’s been a significant reduction in the level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital today.
The latest INMO figures show 11 people were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 9 of those in the Emergency Department.
It’s the lowest number recorded on any given day in recent memory, outside of the Christmas period.
