Trolley numbers at the region’s main hospital are on the rise once again, as the week begins.
The latest figures from the INMO show that there were 74 patients waiting for a bed at University Hospital Limerick this morning, up from 67 on Friday.
It comes just a week after the record-equalling figure of 81 at the Dooradoyle facility.

It means UHL is once again the most overcrowded hospital in the country today, with almost 30 more patients on trolleys, than the next busiest facility – Cork University Hospital.
