Almost 2,500 people have taken to the streets of Clare in protest against water charges.
Enda Kenny, Not another Penny and Clare says no, Hear the Banner Roar were just some of the chants to be heard as the marches battled pouring rain to have their voices heard.

There was a festive atmosphere in Ennis where a Bluegrass band led the March around the town.
Many people who joined in today's protest said, while they already paid for water in their own wells or schemes, water charges is the final straw.
Gardaí say there are no reports of any problems at today's demonstrations.
