Clare’s Everest hero has urged young people to believe in themselves, and follow their goals and dreams.
John Burke was speaking as he was given a hero’s welcome when he returned to Shannon Airport and Clare last evening.
The hotelier created history last week by becoming the first person from Clare to climb the world’s tallest mountain, and he’s now using funds raised as part of his expedition to help establish Elevate, a charity which aims to to help support wellness among young people in the county.
