High Levels Of Overcrowding Persisting At UHL

High levels of overcrowding are continuing at the region’s main hospital today.

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, there were 56 people on trolleys or in overflow areas of wards at University Hospital Limerick earlier.

That’s four more than yesterday and is once again the highest figure nationally.

It’s also four more than the next busiest facility – University Hospital Galway – where 52 people were without a bed this morning.
