Hogan Pays Tribute To ‘Tremendous Leader’ Casey

The Communications Officer for the Diocese of Galway has described Eamon Casey as a tremendous leader.

The former Catholic Bishop of Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora, passed away at Carrigoran Nursing Home in Newmarket on Fergus on Monday, aged 89, after a long illness.

He’ll be laid to rest today, following 2 o’clock Funeral Mass in the Cathedral of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven and Saint Nicholas.
