Alternative accommodation has been sourced and the 28 residents will be relocated over the coming hours – possibly at Ennis General Hospital.

A HSE spokesperson told Clare FM :  that all patients are safe and well. The flooding is localised in the area and the building itself has not been flooded but as the sewerage system may be unusable for the next 24 or 48 hours so other arrangements have to be made for patients".
