Irish Water says all homes in South Clare should have water restored in the coming hours.
Up to seven hundred people were left without water in the Sixmilecbridge, Kilmurry, Quin and surrounding areas over the past number of days following three separate water mains bursts.
Repairs were completed yesterday and the utility says the majority of homes have had their supply restored, but some areas on higher ground will continue to experience issues over the coming hours as pressure levels return to normal.
