A Feakle publican is hopeful that the government’s ‘drink link’ plans will help bring more people in rural Ireland out to socialise.
The Transport Minister has defended the plans to fund a night-time bus in rural Ireland, with critics saying it’s coinciding with strict new drink-driving laws that put first time offenders off the road.
The plan would see it initially rolled out on a trial basis from June until December, with 19 counties first included though Clare is not at this stage.
