It’s hoped a long awaited solution to poor road conditions in the main shopping district in Kilrush could soon be on the way.
Discussions between local Oireachtas members and the National Roads Authority have taken place following concerns raised by Moore Street traders on Clare FM last week, while their complaints were also raised in the Dail.
Moore Street is on the main N67 route meaning much needed improvements to poor surface conditions and potholes can only be sanctioned by the NRA.

The situation has lead to years of waiting for local residents and struggling shopkeepers in Kilrush, but Clare Fine Gael TD Pat Breen is hoping recent coverage of the problem will now be heeded
