The head of the country's main representative body for the construction industry has welcomed two new reports which suggest that there is a return to growth in the property market here.
The Real Estate Alliance has found that the average price of a three-bed semi-detached home here has risn by 17.4% in the past year, while a separate study by Link2Plans has found a hike in the number of new projects, and the number of planning applications.

That report also indicated similar levels of growth nationally, and Director General of the Construction Industry Federation Tom Parlon is hopeful it's a good sign.
