The royal visit of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth is set to boost future tourist numbers in Clare.
The English Monarch’s state visit gets underway at midday when she arrives at Baldonnell aerodrome, before making her way to Dublin, Kildare, Cashel and Cork during her time in Ireland.

It’s hoped the worldwide attention will be an opportunity to showcase Ireland abroad and boost flagging tourist numbers.
Vice President of the Irish Hotel’s Federation and Clare Hotelier Michael Vaughan feels there will be a knock on effect in terms of tourism in Clare as a direct result of the queen’s visit.
