The end is in sight for what have now become long-term traffic delays near Miltown Malbay.
The road to Lahinch has been down to one lane near the Rineen monument for a number of months now, after an embankment slipped during heavy rainfall in September.

Clare County Council says the project to repair the road will go to tender over the coming days, and works of around four weeks are scheduled to commence during the first half of May.
