Clare Hospital Campaigners have been accused of playing politics with people’s health, following news of 50 new beds for Ennis General.
As government politicians and members of the Ennis General Hospital Development Committee remain at odds on whether two new wards are a new development or just replacing lost facilities, it’s claimed any additional beds are good for the county.
Ennis Independent Councillor Tommy Brennan says he doesn’t care what way the new beds have come about, so long as they serve the health of the people of Clare
