Another report has confirmed the continuing rise in house prices in Clare.
MyHome.ie says that median asking price for a home here rose by €9,000 euro last year, up to €179,000.
Their report shows that house prices are now at their highest level in seven years, and further price increases are predicted for the year ahead.

The trends are broadly similar to a separate report from Daft.ie, with both companies also reporting that the number of houses sold here increased throughout 2018.
Chief Economist at Davy, Conall MacCoille, who is the author of the MyHome.ie report, says house prices are likely to rise in 2019 once the uncertainty of Brexit has been resolved.
