Funding for housing adaptation grants for the elderly and disabled in Clare has been given a warm welcome.
Three million, one hundred and twenty five thousand euro will be made available to Clare County Council this year to cover housing adaptations in the county including bathroom adpatations and mobility supports.
The funds were announced by the Housing Minister Michael Finneran yesterday and have been welcomed today by Clare Fianna Fail TD Timmy Dooley

Deputy Dooley feels that it’s a significant sum of money, given the current economic climate.
