Hundreds expected to walk to raise money for breast cancer support

Hundreds of people are expected to don their walking shoes and head to South East Clare today in aid of breast cancer support services

The second annual Pink Ribbon Walk gets underway from the Lakeside Hotel in  Killaloe at 1.30 with organisers expecting in excess of 600 participants in the 10 k stretch.

All funds raised through the event go to Action Breast Cancer – which is a programme of the Irish Cancer Society and provides breast cancer information and support
