Over 300 parents and teachers from across Clare have come together to oppose any cuts to education in next month’s budget.
A number of local representatives also attended last night’s INTO-hosted meeting in Ennis, and heard concerns about the impact of further potential cutbacks on the sector.

Calls were made to prevent the increase of class sizes, cuts to special education supports and for the protection of the county’s rural schools.
