Power has been restored to the majority of Clare homes that had been left in the dark following on from last night’s gale force conditions.
The ESB says over 500 of its custimers in Kilbaha, Sixmilebridge and Moy areas were without supply overnight, while there have also been issues in Clonlara today.
However, most problems have now been rectified.

Last night’s winds, which w gusts of close to 100 km/h at Shannon Airport, saw some of its services disrupted but flights there are operating to schedule today.
