Shannon Airport’s Chairperson says there’s a great deal of interest from the business community in plans to set up an International Aviation Services Centre.
Plans for the independent Shannon include establishing the centre on lands surrounding the airport, and talks with a number aviation-based companies are ongoing.

Announcing plans for the independent Shannon, the government said this could see the creation of up to 3500 jobs and while she admits progress is slow, Shannon Airport Chairperson Rose Hynes says they are working towards that target.
