The President of Shannon Chamber of Commerce has challenged IAG to give more details on their plans for Shannon Airport, in the event that they take over Aer Lingus.
The local business group is one of those who have expressed concerns over the proposed deal, and even addressed an Oireachtas Committee hearing last month to inform TD s and Senators of their stance.

And while IAG have made a number of guarantees since then, the group is still being urged to do more to ease concerns here.
Shannon Chamber President Kevin Thompstone has called on the group to outline the benefits of the deal for Shannon, in a bid to get people here on board.
