ICSA General Secretary Insists Farmers Must Not Lose CAP After Brexit

The Cratloe-based General Secretary of the ICSA has warned of the need to ensure farmers here don’t lose out on money from the Common Agricultural Policy in the aftermath of Brexit.

This week, Agriculture Commissioner Phil Hogan has issued an update outlining his vision of the CAP which is due to come into effect from 2020.

However, the overall amount of money available will be impacted by Brexit, potentially hitting farmers here in the pocket.
